Maesil, or green plum, has long been cherished in Korean kitchens for its digestive and thirst-quenching benefits—especially during hot summers. Rich in antioxidants, potassium, and minerals, maesil is often fermented rather than consumed raw.

Meshil extract is made from 100% organic green maesil harvested at the base of Jirisan in Hadong, Korea’s largest maesil-producing region. Fermented for over 3 years in traditional Korean earthenware (onggi), this concentrate adds fragrant sweetness to marinades, sauces, teas, or sparkling beverages.
